What Saguaro Buttes Wedding Venue Has To Offer

Desert Views

Most couples fall in love with this wedding venue because of the gorgeous desert and mountain views. Since Saguaro Buttes is adjacent to Saguaro National Park, there are hundreds of towering saguaro cacti in every direction. The views are breathtaking.

Privacy

This venue is set on 26 acres and is located just off Old Spanish Trail. Even though this venue is private and surrounded by natural desert, it is only a short drive from town. You also are the only event that is held at the venue on your wedding day. There will not be any other parties, weddings, or events taking place at the same time. This is HUGE! You don’t have to feel like you are running into other people that aren’t a part of your wedding and you have full access to the property for photos.

Large Capacity

Saguaro Buttes can accommodate guest sizes of 300 people. 

Outdoor and Indoor Ceremony and Reception Locations

Most couples choose to get married on the lawn with the gorgeous Rincon Mountains and natural desert landscape as the backdrop for their ceremony. Couples may also choose to get married down by the pond with a stone archway as their backdrop. 

Receptions are typically held indoors in the ballroom. The ballroom has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide beautiful views of the desert and mountains.

Wedding Packages

Saguaro Buttes offers several wedding packages for couples to choose from. They have wedding packages for elopements to full-service events with 300 people. They also have several specials that are listed on their website for weekday weddings and seasonal bookings.

Sunset Views

One of the features that couples love about Saguaro Buttes is the scenic overlook just across from the venue’s entrance. Known as Sunset Point, couples can enjoy the beautiful desert sunset and capture some photos with the warm, desert glow encircling them. This hilltop offers saguaro cacti, ocotillos, and mesquite trees, a perfect desert backdrop for photos. 

Getting Ready Spaces

Having a space to get ready at your venue is a HUGE perk! One of the easiest ways to lessen any stress on your wedding day is to limit changing locations. The more places you have to travel to on a wedding day, the more you will run the risk of forgetting something or having a family member/ wedding party member running behind. This puts your photos on hold and creates a lot of headaches and stress. By choosing a venue that offers a getting-ready space, you eliminate that stress. 

Saguaro Buttes offers both a bridal suite and groom’s quarters for couples to relax and get ready in.

Favorite Photo Locations At Saguaro Buttes

Roses and Fountain Area

Saguaro Buttes has several great locations for portraits. I love capturing a few portraits in front of the lush rose garden. The venue has beautifully layered potted rose bushes around the courtyard fountain to create a lush, garden backdrop. The pops of color from the flowers look gorgeous in photos. 

The Pond

Just behind the ceremony space, down a little hill is a pond. The pond has a stone waterfall with a quaint bridge where couples can take photos. 

Desert 

A bit further down from the pond and to the left, there is a desert wash area. The mesquite trees frame this path and provide a path with filter light, perfect for portraits.

Sunset Point

Arizona is known for its beautiful sunsets. Across the way from the venue entrance is Sunset Point. This grassy area is a great spot for a few sunset photos.

How To Get To Saguaro Buttes

Saguaro Buttes is located on the East side of Tucson just off of Old Spanish Trail. This scenic drive is sure to impress your guests as they drive through the quiet and serene Arizona desert. Once you arrive to the venue, there is paved parking and a shuttle service to bring your guests from the parking lot to the venue entrance.
