About the couple
With their favorite memory being standing under the fireworks at Disneyland, it only made sense that Madi and Riley tied the knot at Pinnacle Peak in Tucson, Arizona. I love it when the venue a couple chooses to get married at holds special meaning. Pinnacle Peak is part of Madi and Riley’s love story. It is a place where these two spent time dating, laughing, and building their love story. Madi and Riley met through their worship team at church, and together these two share a deep love for God and strive to keep Him at the center of their relationship. I loved seeing the strong church community these two have supporting them along with their incredible families.
Madi and her girls all began the day at an Airbnb here in Tucson. When I arrived at the house, all the girls had matching robes and the whole house was buzzing with excitement. After photographing a few details, it was time for Madi to get into her gown. Her sweet mother, Jenni, gently zipped up her dress, placed her veil in her daughter’s hair, and with a delicate touch pulled the veil around Madi’s shoulders. It was so touching as I watched these two exchange knowing looks of love and appreciation for each other.
Riley and his groomsmen got ready at Starr Pass. Lots of laughter filled the room as the gentleman prepped for the ceremony. Riley’s darling mother, Kelly, happily finished some last-minute sewing of the groom’s pants while Riley’s sweet nephew napped on the bed. One of my favorite things about this couple is how much love they have for their parents and their parents have for them. It really is a family affair!
Once we arrived to the venue, it was time for the ceremony. Held in a white gazebo decorated with florals by Inglis Florist, Madi and Riley shared several laughs, tears, and smiles as they said, “I do”.
After the ceremony, we were able to capture some bridal party and couple’s portraits. My favorite moment was photographing the bridal party riding the carousel! I mean who gets to ride a carousel on their wedding day?! The sun was starting to set, so we pulled our bride and groom away for some intimate couple’s portraits. Sunset portraits are always my favorite! It is such a great time for the bride and groom to take a break from all the celebrating and get to enjoy each other for a few minutes. I hope you enjoy some of the highlights from Madi and Riley’s wedding day!
to the bride and groom
Madi and Riley, thank you for inviting me to be a part of your love story. You both are such amazing people and it was such an honor capturing this chapter of your love story. I wish you both so much happiness as you grow and experience this life together!
Pinnacle Peak Wedding Day
Madi and Riley’s Pinnacle Peak Wedding would not have been complete without the amazing team of vendors working so hard to create such a beautiful day! Coordinated by Jerry Fortunado, guests gathered at Pinnacle Peak where they felt as if they were at Disnelyand in the middle of the desert. The bride looked gorgeous in her lace gown purchased at Hem and Her, her glam sandals, and signature denim jacket. Surrounded by soft garden florals by Inglis Florsist the outdoor ceremony site looked incredible. Shades of blue and white made up the bride’s bouquet. Guests enjoyed dinner and a delicious cake created by Cakes by Genevieve before dancing to the tunes of Che Wilson Entertainment. I can’t wait to see their wedding video by the talented husband and wife team from Tower 5C Video.
