Getting Ready
After details and getting ready candids, we then moved into getting Nicole into her wedding dress. Never have I seen a dress that was more made for a bride. It fit her like a glove. Prior to the wedding day, I love to spend time finding out which moments the couple most looks forward to on their wedding day so that I can dedicate a little extra focus to those moments. One of these moments that Nicole expressed she most looked forward to was her mother helping her into her dress. It was so touching as I watched her mother gently button up the back of her dress and delicately place her veil. I wanted to create a quiet moment for the two of them, so I invited them to hold hands and for Deba, Nicole’s mother, to express her love and pride for her daughter on her wedding day. Guys, it was heart-melting!
First Look with the bridesmaids
We then made our way outside for a first look with her bridesmaids. These girls were truly a delight to be around, and their faces when Nicole came around the corner were priceless! They all wrapped her up in a supportive and loving hug, and her darling maid of honor and cousin, Anita, even started to get teary. All day these girls were so incredibly sweet! Throughout the day they were so kind, inclusive, and encouraging… just like Nicole.
First look with Dad
With a bride as gorgeous as Nicole, we couldn’t just do one first look. Minutes before the ceremony, we set up a moment for Mehran, Nicole’s father to see his daughter before walking down the aisle. When Nicole turned the corner and started walking towards her father, you could feel the pride and love Mehran wore on his face as he looked at his only daughter on her wedding day. As a parent, I recognized that look well. There is truly nothing better than seeing your child happy and successful.
Bride and Groom Portraits at Wedgewood Ocotillo Resort
In case you have never visited Arizona in November, it is absolutely perfect. It is what keeps all of us locals here through the blazing summer temperatures. The weather is mild and warm and with the scenic backdrop of Wedgewood Ocotillo golf resort, all of the wedding portraits were beautiful! Even though we were working quickly after the ceremony to get everything accomplished, you would never know it looking at their portraits! Nicole and Denis are so in love it was so natural and easy to pose them. They are both such warm, fun-loving people. I feel much as Nicole did when she commented on one of her sneak peek photos, “Can we do it [the wedding] again?!”

There were an amazing team of vendors who made Nicole and Denis’ wedding so dreamy. The scenic venue this couple chose was Wedgewood Ocotillo Weddings. Natalia who is the wedding coordinator for the venue did a phenomenal job! Nicole chose to wear a stunning off-the-shoulder wedding gown that she purchased at Brilliant Bridal. The blush, ivory, and yellow florals were artistically arranged by Beloved Lily Flowers. Courtney Ness-Footitt with Seventh Ave Beauty did an incredible job with hair while Viviana did an amazing job with make-up. The elegant three-tiered cake was created by Piece of Cake AZ. All of these vendors came together to create a perfect wedding day!
