When I arrived at Adrianna and Louie’s beautiful home, I was was welcomed with huge smiles and big hugs! Adrianna showed me around their gorgeous home and introduced me to their sweet baby girl soundly sleeping on her grandfather’s chest. It had been three weeks since this little one had been born. I was privileged to have been present at her birth, so I was anxious to see how she had changed since I last saw her. She was just as perfect as I remembered!

We started taking photos in the living room. As I watched how sweetly Adrianna and Louie craddled Adelina, I was so touched. This is their tiny miracle, who they have patiently waited for. I could feel how much they love each other and their baby. I love Lifestyle sessions because they are so intimate and really capture the everyday life of a family, especially newborn sessions. These new parents were beaming with joy and love. It truly is humbling and an honor to capture this special time in their lives!

Quickly Adelina let us all know it was time to eat. As she snuggled close to Adrianna I was so moved by the sweet smiles and tender interactions between this mother and daughter. This was her happy place, feeling the closeness, comfort, and security that her mother gives. After she finished, we were able to capture some detail shots of those tiny toes and even caught some sweet baby smiles.
