Tucson Engagement Session
I am so excited to share Maleyna and Austin’s Tucson Engagement Session. Wanting some variety from the mountains of Northern Arizona where he proposed to Maleyna, Honey Bee Canyon worked perfectly for their engagement session! Honey Bee Canyon
Honey Bee Canyon is located just north of Tucson in Oro Valley. The canyon walls are beautiful and with the desert surrounding the canyon, there is no shortage of areas for photos.
Getting to know Maleyna and Austin
Austin and Maleyna got engaged in Maleyna’s hometown of Greer, Arizona where her Mom and sister were able to be there. From their account, it sounds like it was such a sweet and tender moment. Austin shared that they both cried and were so happy the moment they got engaged.
Maleyna and Austin had originally met while serving for a community event held at their church. The two talked and a connection was made. However, Austin had recently moved to Tucson from Wisconsin, and his social media accounts hadn’t been updated. Unable to connect with Austin through Facebook, Maleyna took the advice of a friend and added Austin on LinkedIn. Austin recounts, “So she added me and I could see “added via LinkedIn search” so I knew she searched specifically for me. And I took that as a hint she was interested.” That was the start of their love story, and from there it grew.
During their engagement session, Maleyna and Austin were so sweet to each other! I love engagement sessions because it is such a fun time to celebrate your love and all that you have gone through as a couple to get to this point. It is so special!
Maleyna looked stunning in a floor-length, flowy, lilac dress at the beginning of our session and then changed into an off-the-shoulder dress for some epic sunset photos. Austin rocked his grey blazer and a blue button-down shirt. Maleyna and Austin, I hope you loved getting to capture some gorgeous images for your desert engagement session. I loved getting to meet these two in person and I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
